In an increasingly tough marketplace, innovation plays a starring role when it comes to providing added-value through differentiation, which is exactly what Central RPL, the fast-growing Midlands-based fabricator is doing the introduction of TimberCoreTM, their new composite door alternative.
“The current composite door market is now saturated with a variety of similar offerings but every now and then a product comes along that really stands out from the crowd, says Martyn Elwell,” Central RPL’s Sales Director. “This is certainly true of our latest addition to the Central RPL product range, TimberCoreTM. The TimberCoreTM door offers our customers a highly competitive alternative to standard composite doors.
“Unveiled to the market at FIT Show 2019, our visitors were impressed with TimberCoreTM and could see how it will enhance their offering and give them a competitive edge. The door is made from 16 layers of laminated veneered Kerto® timber creating a solid 48mm timber door leaf. The lamination process ensures the grain is running in different directions which eliminates the chance of splitting or warping, as weak points are avoided. The multi-directional grain also significantly increases the strength, rigidity and lifespan of the door. Robust PVCu skins are then bonded to the Kerto® core providing a realistic woodgrain effect and minimising the ongoing maintenance of the door. Both door and the standard outer frame within which it sits can be painted in any colour from the Central Inspired colour range, providing a perfect match which will age consistently.
